Admission Procedure

Application Submission

To apply for a course at London Innovative Studies, particularly for those intending to use a Short-Term Student Visitor Visa, the following documents must be submitted along with the application:

  • Copies of previous qualification certificates (to satisfy the entry requirements)
  • Copy of passport
  • Two passport-sized photographs
  • Proof of English language proficiency (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL) if English is not your first language
  • Proof of visa eligibility (if applicable)

Completing the Application Form

The application form can be downloaded from the London Innovative Studies or requested via email (London Innovative Studies). The form must be fully completed, and all required documents must be attached. For overseas students, scanned copies of the application form, qualification certificates, passport, and photographs must be sent via email. For students already in the UK, original documents must be presented in person to the Admissions Office.

Processing Time

Once the Admissions Office receives the completed application form and relevant documents, the processing time is typically 2-3 working days. Upon approval, an Acceptance Letter, along with the terms and policies of the School, will be sent to the student.

Conditional Letter of Acceptance

For international students applying for a Short-Term Student Visitor Visa, a Conditional Letter of Acceptance will be issued once the application form and a non-refundable registration fee of £250 are received. This fee will be credited towards the total tuition fee if

the student is accepted. Upon payment of the deposit towards tuition fees (minimum £1,500), the necessary documents related to the course will be issued.

Visa Support for Short-Term Student Visitor Visa

Students applying for a Short-Term Student Visitor Visa must submit the Certificate of Enrolment issued by London Innovative Studies to support their visa application. The Certificate of Enrolment will be provided once the tuition fee deposit is received and the student’s admission is confirmed.

Admission Interview

Applicants already in the UK may be required to attend an Admission Interview to assess their eligibility and application details before receiving confirmed admission.

Confirmation of Enrolment

After the tuition deposit has been received, London Innovative Studies will issue a Confirmation of Enrolment letter, confirming the student’s place in the program. This document is necessary for visa applications, including the Short-Term Student Visitor Visa.

Pre-Departure Checklist for Short-Term Student Visitors

Students traveling to the UK under a Short-Term Student Visitor Visa should ensure they have the following documents upon arrival:

  • Valid passport
  • Short-Term Student Visitor Visa
  • Air tickets
  • Confirmation of course enrolment and start date
  • Verified copies of qualifications
  • Proof of acceptance from awarding bodies (if applicable)

Important Notes

  1. Visa Refusals: International students whose visa applications are refused may receive a refund within 28 days upon providing proof of refusal, minus a £250 administration fee.
  2. No Changes to Program: No changes to academic programs can be made after 4 weeks from the start of the course.
  1. Payment Details: Payments must be made in full via cheque, bank transfer, or other approved methods prior to the start of the course. All payments must be made in Sterling or the equivalent in US dollars.
